Job Description

Key Responsibilities· Strategic Launch & Growth: Define the program’s USP, oversee the launch phase, and support marketing team to ensure enrollment targets are met with high-caliber candidates.· Curriculum Design: Design an /"Industry-Relevant/" curriculum· Corporate experience: Build strategic partnerships with leading pharmaceutical/ Biopharmaceutical/ Medical devices companies, CROs, healthcare analytics firms, and startups. Facilitate internships, live projects, and strong placement outcomes.· Academic Administration: Manage faculty ensuring a cohesive interdisciplinary teaching pedagogy. Identification of faculty to teach pharmacy related courses· Thought Leadership: Represent the University at national and international forums, pharma expos, and academic conferences to build the program's reputation.Dual Qualification Mandatory: B. Pharm/ M. Pharm AND a full-time MBA preferably in Marketing / Pharma Management from a reputed institute. A PhD in a related field is a distinct advantage.Minimum 10 Years of blended experience. Must have spent significant time in both the Pharma Industry (Marketing, PMT etc.) and Academic Leadership. (5 years in pharmaceutical industry (Marketing / Product Management / Business Development / PMT/Strategy / Regulatory / Analytics) and (3–5 years in academic leadership roles)Deep understanding of the Indian and Global pharmaceutical landscape, including patent laws, market access, and healthcare analytics. Proven track record of managing academic programs or corporate departments. Ability to mentor both faculty and senior students.Core Competencies· Hybrid Fluency: The ability to speak the language of /"Pharmacy/" and /"MBA/" with equal ease.· Stakeholder Management: Experience dealing with regulatory bodies (AICTE, UGC) and C-suite industry executives.· Entrepreneurial Mindset: As this is a new program, the candidate must be a self-starter who can build systems from scratch.· Soft Skill & Leadership Expectations: Strong communication and public speaking skills. Ability to attract adjunct faculty and industry mentors. Capability to build brand identity for the program.
