They are currently scaling multiple verticals:Primary QSR Brand: A modern South Indian fast-casual brand currently undergoing a national expansion through franchise and partner-led models.B2B Catering: A large-scale corporate catering operation.International Dining: Premium casual dining format being launched outside India.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:1. HR GENERALIST FUNCTIONSHandle end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and exit formalities.Maintain and update employee records, HRIS, and ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, etc.).Conduct regular audits to ensure documentation and policy adherence.2. ATTRITION CONTROL & RETENTIONAnalyze attrition trends and work with operations to design and implement retention strategies.Conduct exit interviews, identify patterns, and take corrective/preventive actions.Design employee satisfaction and engagement surveys to track and improve morale.3. EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENTPlan and execute employee engagement initiatives across all store and support office locations.Foster a culture of recognition, motivation, and team bonding.Create and drive internal communication campaigns to keep employees informed and involved.4. RECRUITMENT AND TALENT ACQUISITIONOversee bulk hiring and lateral recruitment for store and managerial roles.Coordinate with agencies, job portals, and internal references to build a strong talent pipeline.Ensure timely closure of positions to support business continuity.5. TRAINING & DEVELOPMENTCoordinate with the L&D team to ensure timely induction and on-the-job training.Identify skill gaps and support the planning of development programs for store-level staff and team leaders.6. STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENTCollaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as operations managers, unit heads, and corporate teams to align HR initiatives with business needs.Serve as the HR point of contact for regional/store-level leadership, addressing escalations and resolving workforce issues effectively.Ensure timely communication and feedback loops between employees and leadership to support a transparent and responsive HR environment.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:a) Must-Haves:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources / Business Administration or related field.10+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role within a QSR, retail, or hospitality environment.Experience in handling HR operations across multi-location retail/QSR setups.b) Nice-to-Haves:Proven track record in reducing attrition and driving employee engagement.Sound knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.c) Tools & Skills Required:Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Stakeholder management and the ability to engage with cross-functional teams.Ability to work in a fast-paced, people-intensive environment.REPORTING STRUCTURE:This role will report directly to the Founder.⚠️ CANDIDATES/APPLICANTS PLEASE NOTE:Apex Growth Talent and/or its representatives never charge any fees or money at any stage of the recruitment process.
