Role: Technical Account Manager | Client Solutions Manager Location: Mumbai | Bangalore (Client-embedded, on-site) Role Objective The objective of this role is to be embedded within strategic client accounts, act as the client’s primary technical sounding board, and convert day-to-day business and technology challenges into well-structured solution opportunities by working closely with internal teams. What You Will Do Be physically present within assigned client accounts and operate as an extension of the client’s team Build deep working relationships with IT, business, operations, and leadership stakeholders Proactively observe and identify day-to-day operational and technology challenges Structure ambiguous issues into clear problem statements and solution hypotheses Act as a sounding board for client ideas, constraints, and roadmap discussions Take problems to a conceptual solution stage before engaging internal teams Collaborate with internal teams to shape practical, implementable solutionsSupport pre-sales conversations through technical clarity and solution articulationLeverage stakeholder-mapping and research inputs to strengthen account intelligence Drive account growth through relevance, consistency, and trust Experience & Profile 10+ years of experience in technology, consulting, solutioning, or domain-focused roles Strong technical foundation (enterprise IT, data platforms, AI, applications, manufacturing or pharma systems) Prior experience in client-facing technical roles (pre-sales, consulting, solution architect, technical account management) Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, unstructured environmentsStrong analytical thinking and problem-structuring capability Comfortable engaging with senior client stakeholders Exposure to pharma, manufacturing, or supply-chain environments is a strong advantage Ideal Persona Thinks like an engineer, engages like a consultant Curious, grounded, and hands-on Enjoys solving new problems every day Builds credibility through insight and execution—not persuasion Seen by clients as a problem owner, not a vendor representative Success in This Role Looks Like Being recognized as a trusted technical advisor within client accounts Regularly uncovering and shaping high-impact problem statements Driving organic account expansion through trust and relevance Becoming indispensable to both the client and internal solution teams What This Role Is Not Not a quota-carrying sales role Not a relationship-only account management role Not a slide-driven pre-sales role Not a remote position
