We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Counsellor to provide preventive and supportive mental health services on campus. The selected candidate will lead student wellness initiatives, provide counselling support, and help ensure the institution meets statutory mental health compliance requirements.Key Responsibilities:Provide individual and group counselling sessions for students.Support individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, academic pressure, and personal challengesConduct risk assessments and manage crisis situationsProvide guidance for suicide prevention and emergency referrals when requiredConduct workshops, seminars, and mental health awareness ProgrammesMaintain confidential counselling records and documentationSupport the Mental Health & Counselling Cell for NAAC/NIRF audit requirementsQualification Criteria:Master’s Degree in Psychology (Clinical / Counselling) or Social Work (Mental Health)Preferably trained in suicide-prevention and adolescent/young-adult counsellingRelevant experience in educational institutions will be an added advantage
