Role: Assistant Manager – Origination Work mode: Remote Role Overview: The Assistant Manager - Origination drives loan sourcing and borrower onboarding for Rang De P2P platform. This role manages the end-to-end loan origination process, from borrower acquisition through platform onboarding, ensuring volume targets are met while maintaining quality of the profile, compliance, publishing and credit quality standards. Responsibilities: 1.Loan Sourcing & Borrower Acquisition Conduct preliminary needs assessment of the loan disbursal requirement at Rang De Borrower loan eligibility screening, content creation, publishing the borrower profiles on Rang De platform Achieve monthly loan origination targets and growth metrics Maintain an effective pipeline of potential borrowers 2.KYC/AML Verification & Compliance Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) verification as per Rang De SOP Verify customer information against the set partner SOP & Borrower selection due diligence Perform Anti-Money Laundering (AML) due diligence and risk categorization Ensure compliance with all KYC requirements under RBI P2P Lending Framework Monitor and report suspicious activities 3.Digital Onboarding & Account Setup Perform digital onboarding of the borrowers on the P2P platform Capture and validate financial information, occupation experience details, business plan and credit history etc Perform credit score verification of each borrower Ensure accurate data entry and documentation 4.Credit Assessment & Loan Approval Perform preliminary credit screening using CRIF scores, income verification, and debt-to-income ratios Support credit team with required documentation and borrower clarifications Escalate high-risk or complex applications for detailed credit review Maintain accurate loan application records and status tracking 5.Lender Matching & Fund Mobilization Coordinate with lender acquisition teams to match borrowers with available funds Ensure loan terms, interest rates, and tenors align with Rang De platform policy and borrower requirements Monitor fund availability and prioritize high-quality loan applications Track lender-borrower matching metrics and conversion rates 6.Process Compliance & Documentation Maintain complete loan origination documentation per RBI guidelines Ensure timely processing within the committed turnaround time (TAT) Update loan status in platform systems and maintain audit trails 7.Borrower Communication & Support (need based) Provide pre-approval and post-approval support to borrowers Address borrower queries on loan terms, repayment schedules, and platform features Facilitate borrower grievance resolution and escalations Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure smooth loan disbursement 8.Quality Assurance & Risk Management Ensure all applications meet quality and compliance standards before approval Flag potential fraud cases or inconsistencies to the credit/compliance team Support audit and regulatory examination processes Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives Required Qualification Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field Diploma in banking or financial services preferred Experience 1-2 years in loan origination, customer onboarding, or retail lending Experience with digital lending platforms or fintech companies preferred Knowledge of NBFC or P2P lending operations is a plus Technical skills Strong Excel and data entry skills Familiarity with CRIF/credit bureau reports Knowledge of KYC/AML compliance processes Comfortable with CRM tools and documentation management Regulatory knowledge Understanding of RBI 2017 P2P Lending Guidelines Knowledge of KYC/AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering/Combating Financing of Terrorism) regulations Familiarity with consumer protection and grievance redressal framework Basic understanding of credit and lending concepts Soft skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Customer service orientation with problem-solving ability Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment Integrity and ethical conduct in all dealings How to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to email their resume along with a brief note on why they are passionate about joining Rang De.
