Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)Position SummaryThe Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is responsible for delivering quality teaching, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to academic and administrative activities within the department.Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Academic ActivitiesTeach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering.Handle subjects such as:Programming (C, C++, Java, Python)Data Structures and AlgorithmsDatabase Management SystemsOperating SystemsComputer NetworksSoftware EngineeringArtificial Intelligence / Machine LearningCloud Computing / CybersecurityPrepare lesson plans, lecture notes, and course materials.Conduct laboratory sessions, tutorials, and seminars.Evaluate students through assignments, projects, quizzes, internal assessments, and examinations.2. Research & DevelopmentConduct research in emerging areas of Computer Science.Publish papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.Apply for research grants, funded projects, and consultancy opportunities.Encourage innovation, patents, and startup initiatives.3. Student Guidance & MentoringGuide undergraduate and postgraduate projects.Mentor students in coding competitions, hackathons, and technical clubs.Support internships, industry training, and placement preparation.4. Departmental & Institutional ActivitiesParticipate in curriculum development and syllabus revision.Contribute to accreditation activities such as NAAC, NBA, and NIRF.Organize technical workshops, seminars, conferences, and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs).Participate in departmental committees and academic administration.QualificationsPh.D. in Computer Science and Engineering (preferred) ORM.E./M.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field with strong academic record (as per AICTE/UGC norms).Experience0–5 years of teaching, research, or industry experience.Fresh PhD candidates are encouraged to apply.
