Job Title: Senior Manager: Lead - Internal Controls & AssuranceReporting Relationship: Head – Transformation, Assurance and CompliancePurpose: This role reports to the Head – Transformation, Assurance and Compliance and is responsible for leading enterprise-wide financial assurance governance. The position drives the design, implementation, and continuous strengthening of internal financial and process controls to ensure accuracy, transparency, and risk mitigation. It also ensures full adherence with applicable financial commitments and compliance, while embedding robust monitoring mechanisms.Education: Chartered Accountant | Location: MumbaiBusiness/ Channel/ Function: Finance and AccountsExperience: 10 to 12 yearsKey Responsibilities: Identify control gaps and recommend and implement remediation plans, including policy updates, system enhancements, automation controls, and strengthened approval mechanisms.Conduct periodic and structured review of accounting policies to ensure alignment with applicable accounting standards regulatory requirements, and evolving business models. Govern depreciation and amortization policies, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable accounting frameworks. Evaluate the adequacy and relevance of existing SOPs, process notes, and control checklists across finance and cross-functional processes (Procurement, Capex, Tech, Revenue, etc.).
