Job Opening for Senior Design Engineer/ Assistant Chief Engineer - Water Engineer - BangaloreRoles & Responsibilities: • Lead and execute detailed engineering for cooling water systems including both open and closed loop configurations. • Design and engineering of Condenser cooling water system, Cooling towers and associated piping systems. • Design and engineering of Raw water Systems, Sea water intake systems & water treatment Systems. • Develop chemical dosing systems for boiler, Deaerator, CW treatment etc • Design & Engineering of water treatment systems such as RO / SWRO, DM, UF, etc right from Raw water / Sea water • shall be responsible for wastewater treatment systems including Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) and sewage treatment systems. • Create and review process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), Equipment data sheets, equipment layouts, and general arrangement (GA) drawings. • Prepare & review of Water Balance Diagrams • Perform hydraulic calculations, pressure drop calculations, pump sizing and pipe sizing. • Prepare equipment specifications, data sheets, and bills of quantities (BOQs). • Coordinate closely with process, mechanical, civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams. • Interface with vendors to resolve technical clarifications and conduct technical bid evaluations (TBE). • Vendor drawing review of balance of plant water systems equipment • Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, industry codes such as ASME, API, IS codes, CPCB, and environmental regulations. • Participate in HAZOP studies, model reviews, and design audits. • Support construction and commissioning activities and engage with clients as needed. Preferred candidate profile • B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 8 to 12 years of experience in detailed engineering for cooling water systems. • Experience in designing cooling towers and associated piping systems and developing chemical dosing systems and water treatment systems.
