Position OverviewWe are seeking a qualified Network Engineer with expertise in Aruba and Juniper networking solutions to provide onsite manpower support as a resident engineer at our client site in Hyderabad. The selected candidate will be responsible for network monitoring, administration, and security device management, ensuring the optimal performance and availability of all network infrastructure.Mandatory QualificationsEducational Requirements:Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Information Technology (IT), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), or Computer Science Engineering (CSE) from a recognized educational instituteExperience:Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience in network administration and supportHands-on experience with Aruba networking products (switches, wireless controllers, access points)Hands-on experience with Juniper networking equipment (switches, routers, firewalls)Certifications (Mandatory):Valid CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification or equivalent networking certificationAruba certification (ACSA/ACMA/ACMP) OR Juniper certification (JNCIA/JNCIS or higher) - RequiredKey ResponsibilitiesNetwork Monitoring & ManagementConduct daily monitoring of the health status of all network devices including Aruba switches, Juniper switches/routers, and other network appliancesMonitor network connectivity and performance across Aruba and Juniper infrastructureEnsure optimal network uptime and performance through proactive monitoringPerform continuous monitoring of network logs and system alerts from Aruba and Juniper devicesNetwork Configuration & AdministrationConfigure and reconfigure Aruba switches, wireless controllers, and access pointsConfigure and manage Juniper switches, routers, and network devicesConfigure and manage NGFW (Next-Generation Firewall), WAF (Web Application Firewall), AAA servers, and EMS (Element Management System)Implement VLANs, routing protocols, and network segmentation on Aruba and Juniper platformsTake regular configuration backups for all network and security devicesMaintain accurate network configuration documentation and topology diagramsTroubleshooting & Technical SupportTroubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues on Aruba and Juniper equipmentDiagnose and fix performance issues related to Aruba wireless infrastructureTroubleshoot routing and switching issues on Juniper devicesAddress security incidents affecting network operationsIdentify and remediate vulnerabilities in network and security devicesApply software patches, firmware updates, and JunOS/ArubaOS upgrades to all network devicesLog support calls with Aruba, Juniper, and other OEMs for hardware repairs and faulty component replacementCoordinate with vendors for RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) processes and technical support escalationsNetwork Operations & MaintenanceMaintain network logs and system logs from Aruba ClearPass, Juniper devices, and other systems in accordance with operational requirementsEnsure proper log retention as per cybersecurity and compliance standardsMove log backups to designated storage systems as neededGenerate network performance reports and status updatesProvide timely alerts and notifications to management regarding network issues and critical alarmsBackup & DocumentationTake regular configuration backups of all Aruba and Juniper devicesMaintain comprehensive documentation of network changes, incidents, and resolutionsDocument standard operating procedures for Aruba and Juniper network operationsRequired Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills:Strong hands-on experience with Aruba switching and wireless solutionsProficiency in Juniper Networks equipment including JunOS configuration and managementIn-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, LACP, etc.)Experience with Aruba ClearPass for network access control and AAA servicesKnowledge of Juniper EX/QFX series switches and SRX series firewallsFamiliarity with Aruba AirWave or Central for wireless network managementExperience with Aruba Mobility Controllers and Instant Access PointsUnderstanding of Juniper Space and network management toolsProficiency in configuring and managing firewalls (NGFW), WAF, and network security devicesExperience with network monitoring tools and log management systemsUnderstanding of network troubleshooting methodologies and diagnostic toolsFamiliarity with patch management and firmware upgrade processesExperience with network backup solutions and configuration managementProfessional Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with focus on Aruba and Juniper platformsExcellent
