The role involves lead generation, client engagement, proposal support, and assisting senior sales managers in closing rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects. The candidate should have basic knowledge of the solar industry and a strong interest in building a career in renewable energy sales.______________Key Responsibilities• Lead Generation & Outreacho Identify prospective industrial/commercial clients in assigned region.o Generate leads through cold calls, visits to industrial parks, and networking.o Support digital campaigns, consultant tie-ups, and events.• Client Engagement & Supporto Conduct preliminary discussions with clients about solar benefits.o Schedule and accompany senior managers to meetings with CXOs / plant heads.o Collect site load data, bills, and documents for feasibility analysis.• Proposal & Coordinationo Work with pre-sales engineers to prepare proposals and presentations.o Follow up on quotes, documentation, and approvals with customers.o Assist in PPA and EPC contract negotiations by providing commercial inputs.• Reporting & Market Intelligenceo Maintain updated lead funnel on CRM.o Provide weekly reporting on leads, meetings, and pipeline.o Track competitor activities in the assigned territory.______________Candidate Profile• Education: Graduate in Engineering / Science / Commerce; MBA (Marketing/Energy) preferred but not mandatory.• Experience: 3–5 years in industrial B2B sales, preferably solar energy, electrical equipment, or capital goods.• Skills:o Excellent communication & presentation skills.o Strong drive for sales and target achievement.o Ability to travel extensively in industrial clusters.o Basic understanding of solar energy concepts preferred.______________Compensation• Fixed Salary: Commensurate with Industry Standards and the experience• Variable Incentive: % linked to order conversion and pipeline contribution• Benefits: Travel allowance, career progression to BDM/Senior BDM within 2–3 years.
