Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Equity Market Making Dealer to join our proprietary trading desk with a specific focus on ETF market making. The ideal candidate will manage real‑time trading, optimize inventory, and contribute to P&L through disciplined risk-taking and efficient execution strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesLead real‑time market making in ETFs. Proficiency in Greek trading software is desirable.Oversee pricing models, quoting logic, and hedging strategies, ensuring optimal inventory and risk management.Identify and execute ETF arbitrage opportunities, including NAV/fair‑value discrepancies, basket trades, and liquidity dislocations.Collaborate closely with quant and tech teams to enhance automation, execution algorithms, and real‑time analytics.Manage the desk’s capital, limits, and intraday risk, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines.Maintain relationships with brokers, exchanges, authorized participants, and liquidity venues.Ensure compliance with internal risk policies, regulatory guidelines, and trade surveillance requirements.Contribute to desk-level strategy development, identifying new opportunities in ETFs, equity derivatives, and liquidity‑driven strategies.Qualifications2–6 years of experience in equity or ETF market making or F&O, proprietary trading, or high-touch execution roles.Strong understanding of market microstructure, algo execution, and price discovery in equities/ETFs.Hands-on experience with order management systems (OMS), trading platforms, and exchange protocols.Strong quantitative aptitude; familiarity with Python, SQL, or analytics tools is a plus.Ability to make quick, high‑quality decisions under pressure.High level of integrity, discipline, and risk awareness.Preferred AttributesAbility to design and refine semi‑ or fully‑automated market‑making strategies.Strong leadership skills, with experience coaching or managing traders.High level of discipline, risk awareness, and decision-making under pressure.Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to adapt quickly to dynamic markets.
