Role & responsibilities End-to-End Import Lifecycle Ownership Lead and oversee the complete import process from Purchase Order creation through shipment, customs clearance, and final delivery to cold storage facilitiesCustoms & Regulatory Compliance Management Manage all customs clearance activities in coordination with the Importer of Record (IOR), ensuring full compliance with import documentation requirements and applicable trade regulations. Oversee foreign exchange (Forex) mapping and documentation in collaboration with the IOR to ensure regulatory accuracy and financial alignment.Financial & Landed Cost Governance Partner closely with Finance to manage duty payments, customs clearance charges, and related fees. Ensure accurate landed cost calculations, cost tracking, and reconciliation to maintain financial transparency and budget control.Vendor & Logistics Coordination Proactively coordinate with vendors to monitor material readiness, dispatch schedules, and shipment documentation. Collaborate with freight forwarders and Customs House Agents (CHAs) to ensure efficient customs processing and expedited material clearance.Preferred candidate profile 3 to 5 years of experience in import/export operations, logistics, or international trade. Strong knowledge of import documentation, customs clearance processes, and freight coordination. Experience working with freight forwarders, CHAs, and regulatory bodies. Good understanding of landed cost calculations and import compliance. Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
