This role offers hands-on exposure to cybersecurity operations, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), and incident response within a professional IT environment.Internship Duration:3–6 Months (Extendable based on performance)Key Responsibilities:Assist in maintaining Record of Processing Activities (ROPA).Support in DPA and Risk management.Support the development and maintenance of privacy documentation such as: Privacy Charter, Privacy RACI Matrix, Privacy Policies, Data Retention Schedule, Data Subject RequestHelp track Data Subject Requests (DSR) such as access, correction, and deletion requests.Assist in Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) documentation.Maintain privacy training records and awareness materials.Support the Privacy KPI dashboard and reporting.Information Security Support:Assist in maintaining security policies and procedures.Support access control review and documentation.Help monitor security alerts and logs under guidance.Assist in vulnerability tracking and remediation documentation.Help document incident management records.Handling firewall logs and rules is plusRequired Skills & Knowledge:Technical Skills:Basic understanding of cybersecurity and data protection & privacy conceptsKnowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR / DPDP / HIPAA) is a plusFamiliarity with ISO 27001 or security frameworks is desirableBasic knowledge of Excel, documentation, and reporting toolsEligibility Criteria:Final-year student or recent master graduate in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Electronics or related discipline, Law (Data Privacy specialization), Risk & ComplianceStrong interest in privacy, data protection and information securityGood communication and documentation skillsWillingness to learn and work collaborativelyPreferred Certifications (Optional):CompTIA Security+CEH (Theory)ISO/IEC 27001 FoundationData Privacy certification coursesAny relevant cybersecurity training or lab experienceWhat You Will Gain:Hands-on experience in Privacy governanceExposure to security tools, frameworks, and compliance standardsRisk management, Security operations support, and Data protection regulationsMentorship from experienced security professionalsInternship Certificate & Letter of Recommendation (based on performance)Opportunity for full-time employment based on performance
