This role supportsBluebeam’s connected ecosystem by ensuring that data and cloud platforms are reliable, secure,and performant, enabling teams to deliver high-quality product experiences and insights. TheSenior Data Engineer accomplishes this by developing cloud-based data platforms, pipelines,and services, collaborating with product and engineering teams to translate requirements intotechnical solutions, and improving system scalability, performance, and reliability.• Design and develop scalable data platforms and services to support Bluebeam productsand business needs.• Build and maintain data pipelines and analytics systems that enable reliable, high-qualitydata processing and insights.• Develop software components and integrations that expose data capabilities throughAPIs and services.• Ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of data and platform systemsthrough monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product and business requirementsinto technical solutions.• Participate in system design and architectural discussions to evaluate and implementappropriate technical approaches.• Document system designs, data workflows, and code to support maintainability andknowledge sharing.• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, processes, and platformcapabilities.WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:• 6+ years in software development, with a focus on data-intensive applications, cloudsolutions, and scalable data architectures.• Strong experience in software and data engineering using programming languagesincluding Go (Golang) and Python.• Advanced SQL expertise, including procedural SQL dialects (Snowflake Scripting,PL/pgSQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL).• Design, development, and optimization of Snowflake-based data platforms, includingdata modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and performance tuning.• Experience with batch, CDC, event-driven, and SaaS-based data pipelines, includinghandling data in formats like Avro, Parquet or Iceberg.Building and maintaining APIs and microservices for internal and external dataintegration. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS: S3, EC2, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Kinesis,ELB).• Experience with data visualization and dashboards, supporting analytics and businessreporting needs.• Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, DocumentDB, or MongoDB.• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and containerization(Docker/Kubernetes). Exposure to data governance and security practices, includingtools such as Collibra, Alation, or OpenMetadata.
