Job Title: Sr. Sybase Database Administrator (L3)Position Purpose: This position is for a senior Database Administrator - Sybase to provide technical support to the Local and Regional Database Environments. We are seeking a hands-on database administrator with a minimum of 8+ years of Industry experience on Sybase ASE and IQ with MongoDB.ResponsibilitiesDirect ResponsibilitiesResponsible for installation, configuration and managing the database (Sybase)servers and Remediating the vulnerabilities - applying the security patches. SYBASE ASE & SYABSE IQ Database performance tuning.Provide and maintain the high availability and BCP/DR Recovery database solutions (Replication ,Warm Standby)Responsible to develop ITIP Information Management Dashboards including risk analysis, current projects etc… for different functions / clients.Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.Establish excellent working relationships with different functions across various regions.Ensure rigorous follow up and communication to stakeholders on estimated delivery timelines of ProjectsAnalytical mindset in troubleshooting and resolving database problemsContributing Responsibilities1. Develop assess and select proper strategy for the projects considering performance, Cost, Time and Scope Constraints2. Responsible to follow up and closing on all risk item identified by IG Audit or any other internal and external audits. Technical & Behavioral CompetenciesSybase DBA with experience on Linux , PostgreSQL desirable. Good Knowledge in Performance tuning and Sybase IQ will be added advantage.2. Working experience on Cloud is desirable.Able to work with large data in excel and suggest process enhancement ideas.Knowledge of advanced formulas & pivot tables in excel is must.Good working knowledge of tools such as Collibra, Ab-Initio, Informatica Metadata ManagerSharePoint, MS Word, MS Visio, Power BI & PowerPoint Specific Qualifications:Minimum 7 years of experience along with Bachelor's Degree - in management, finance, science, economics, related field or equivalent experience.• Prior experience in similar domain.
