Role OverviewThe Area Sales Manager – Retail will be responsible for driving sales performance across multiple exclusive brand outlets / retail stores of The Sleep Company in Hyderabad. The role involves managing Store Managers, ensuring target achievement, improving store productivity, driving customer experience, and executing retail expansion strategy.Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Store PerformanceDrive monthly & quarterly sales targets across assigned retail storesMonitor store-wise revenue, conversion %, ASP, footfall, and productivity metricsEnsure achievement of store KPIs (Sales, UPT, ATV, Conversion Ratio)Plan and execute local store-level promotions to boost walk-ins and sales2. Team ManagementLead, train, and mentor Store Managers and Sales ExecutivesConduct regular store visits for performance reviews and coachingEnsure proper staffing, roster planning, and discipline across storesDrive incentive plans and motivate teams to exceed targets3. Customer Experience & Visual MerchandisingEnsure premium in-store customer experience aligned with brand standardsMaintain VM guidelines, store hygiene, product display, and branding consistencyMonitor customer feedback and resolve escalations promptly4. Inventory & OperationsEnsure optimal stock levels across storesMinimize stock-outs and overstock situationsCoordinate with warehouse and supply chain for replenishmentMonitor shrinkage and ensure SOP compliance5.
