Role Description This is an on-site contract role for a Sourcing Lead based in Mumbai. The Sourcing Lead will oversee sourcing strategies, identify and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and handle procurement activities. Additional responsibilities include analyzing market trends, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring smooth and cost-effective supply chain operations. Qualifications Proficiency in Analytical Skills to evaluate sourcing trends and propose cost-effective strategiesAbility to perform Quality Checks at multiple stepsPrior experience in sourcing in the footwear industryStrong Communication skills to collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders effectivelyExperience in Contract Negotiation and Procurement to manage supplier agreements and purchasing processesRecruiting skills to source and onboard suppliers or vendorsAbility to adapt to fast-paced environments and prioritize tasks efficientlyKnowledge of the footwear or fashion industry is a plusBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
