Job Title : Sewing Automation IE ExecutiveLocation : JordanThe Sewing Automation IE Executive is responsible for optimizing sewing processes through automation, planning machine layouts, gathering and revising requirements, and identifying automation opportunities for current and upcoming garment styles. The role focuses on enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring seamless integration of automated solutions in production. Roles and Responsibilities: Machine Planning & Layout Design: Develop and plan sewing machine configurations and layouts for production lines. Ensure optimal placement of automated machines to maximize workflow efficiency. Requirement Gathering & Revision: Collaborate with production, design, and management teams to collect automation requirements.Review and revise specifications based on style changes, production needs, and feasibility. Automation Opportunity Identification: Analyze running garment styles to pinpoint processes suitable for automation. Evaluate upcoming styles and propose automation solutions during pre-production stages.Process Optimization: Study existing sewing operations to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Recommend automated tools, technologies, or machinery to improve productivity. Feasibility Analysis: Assess technical and cost feasibility of implementing automation in sewing lines. Prepare reports justifying automation investments based on ROI and output gains. Coordination & Documentation:Coordinate with vendors for machine specifications and trials. Maintain updated records of automation plans, requirements, and implementation progress. Continuous Improvement: Monitor automation performance post-implementation and suggest upgrades.Stay updated on industry trends in sewing automation technologies. Key Skills: Knowledge of sewing machinery and automation technologies. Analytical skills for process mapping and optimization. Proficiency in CAD software or layout planning tools. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or related field. Experience in garment manufacturing or industrial automation preferred.
