Recognized for its commitment to integrity, inclusivity, and long-term partnerships, Ishaan Global maintains a remarkable 98% client retention rate.Designation: Associate General Manager – QAGrade: ManagerDepartment: QASub Department: Cattle FeedLocation: Palani FeedReports to: VP – QAJob Purpose:The role holder is responsible for carrying out the production planning, complying with the standards (food safety & Job safety) and company policies.Principal Accountabilities:• To formulate diets for high yielding cows & buffaloes, on dairy farms in India, considering ADF, NDF, ADICP, NDICP Soluble Protein, energy, starch, and environmental factors in different regions in India.• Dairy farm management- transition cow management, Hoof health, Fertility rate, clean milk production and calf health through feed and management.• Developed cattle feed supplements for commercial use in the field through supported field trials.• Support on QC & feed formulations extended to customer feed mills and dairy farms.• Very well familiar with the additives in dairy feeds.• To Implementation of SOP for Raw material selection, handling, storage, and usage.• Also, should take care of incoming raw material quality verification.• Acceptance and rejection of raw materials will fall under your scope.• Should be capable of managing the raw material lab and should have high knowledge in raw material area.• To manage technical and dairy farming services to the large dairy farmers.• Development of feed supplements for fertility improvement and reduce somatic cell count.• Arrangement of centralized supply chain of semen straw and timely supply to different parts of dairy working area.• Preparation of formats for all activities running under poultry farm and processing unit.• Arrangement of factory visit for large farmers, distributors for upgrading the knowledge about manufacturing facilities.Key Interactions:Internal: Production Team, Engineering TeamExternal: Customer AuditKnowledge, Skills and Experience:Educational qualifications: MVSC or BVSC or MS or MSC (Veterinary Science) MSC-Chemistry or BiologyExperience: 05 to 12 yrsKnowledge:• Knowledge on Dairy Processing• Knowledge on Production planning, men and material utilization• Knowledge in FSMS, QMS, Health & Work safetySkills:• Managerial Skills• Co-ordination Skills and Communication Skills• Planning and Organizing SkillsLocation: Sy.
