Position: Quantity Surveyor / Estimator – Architecture & Interiors Company: Graniti Vicentia India Pvt Ltd Location: Hyderabad (work from office) Mon to FriYears of exp: 0 to 3+ years Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred Role Overview: Graniti Vicentia India Pvt Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and commercially driven Quantity Surveyor / Estimator with expertise in architecture and interior fit-out projects. The role involves preparing accurate quantity take-offs, developing competitive cost estimates, supporting bid submissions, and effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, sound knowledge of interior construction materials and methods, and the ability to work collaboratively with design and project teams. Key Responsibilities:Quantity Take-Offs & Measurement Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and BOQs for interior and architectural projects Accurately measure materials, labor, finishes, fixtures, and specialized interior components Cost Estimation & Pricing Prepare comprehensive and competitive cost estimates using current market rates Analyze vendor quotations and supplier pricing for cost accuracy Develop rate analysis for new and non-standard items Budgeting & Cost Control Support project managers and architects in establishing project budgets Monitor project costs and track variances throughout execution Prepare cost reports and financial forecasts for management review Value Engineering Identify cost-optimization opportunities without compromising design intent or quality Recommend alternative materials and construction methods to improve project profitability Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field Proven experience in estimation and quantity surveying for interior fit-out / architectural projects Strong understanding of interior construction materials, finishes, and execution methodologies Familiarity with tendering processes and commercial documentation Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimation software such as On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Bluebeam, or similar tools is an advantage Strong command of Microsoft Excel for cost modeling and data analysis Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications Core Competencies: Strong analytical and numerical aptitude High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong commercial awareness and cost-conscious mindset Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced project environments
