Job Title

We are seeking a motivated Junior Cosmetic Chemist with at least 2 years of experience in formulation development and laboratory support within the cosmetic and personal care industry. The ideal candidate will assist in developing skincare, haircare, and personal care formulations while supporting product testing, documentation, and innovation activities within the R&D team.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development of skincare, haircare, and personal care formulations under the guidance of senior chemists.Support optimization of existing formulations to improve stability, performance, and sensory attributes.Conduct bench-scale trials and prototype development for new product concepts.Evaluate and test new raw materials and ingredients for formulation compatibility.Perform basic stability testing, compatibility testing, and microbiological sample preparation.Conduct routine analytical tests including pH, viscosity, and sensory evaluation.Maintain proper laboratory records and assist in troubleshooting formulation issues.Support pilot batches and scale-up trials.Maintain formulation records, batch sheets, and technical documentation.Assist in preparing product specifications and technical data.Ensure formulations comply with applicable cosmetic regulations (EU, FDA, BIS, etc.) under supervision.Support documentation required for product safety and regulatory submissions.Work with R&D, marketing, and production teams to support product development projects.Research new ingredients, formulation technologies, and industry trends.Coordinate with raw material suppliers for technical data and samples.Support development of innovative and market-relevant cosmetic products.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in cosmetic formulation or R&D laboratory work.Basic understanding of emulsions, surfactants, polymers, and cosmetic actives.Familiarity with natural ingredients and clean beauty formulations is an advantage.Experience using laboratory instruments such as pH meter, viscometer, and basic analytical equipment.Knowledge of cosmetic stability testing and formulation procedures.:Strong attention to detail and laboratory discipline.Good problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Good documentation and communication skills.Why Join Us?Opportunity to work with an innovative and growing cosmetic R&D team.Hands-on experience in developing market-ready formulations.Exposure to new ingredients, technologies, and product development processes.Competitive salary and opportunities for career growth in the cosmetic industry.How to Appy?You can apply on LinkedIn or share your CV to .
