As Technology Manager, you will work as part of a global team supported by our business, engineering and architecture partners to help us collaboratively develop and deliver industry leading technology solutions that drive lululemon’s business goals. Key Responsibilities:We are seeking a seasoned Technology Manager with expertise in Full stack, cloud and DevOps, and a strong understanding of AI-driven solutions. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management to deliver intelligent, scalable, and high-performing applications that enhance digital experiences. Full stack & Cross-Platform Development:Lead the design, development, and optimization of end-to-end web applications, spanning modern frontend frameworks (React/Next.js) and backend services (Java/Spring Boot, Node.js) with seamless integration into enterprise retail ecosystems.Leverage deep expertise in IBM Sterling Order Management (OMS) to design, extend, and optimize key OMS modules (order creation, orchestration, payment, fulfillment, returns, inventory visibility), and build microservices/API layers around Sterling using best-practice patterns.Drive end-to-end integration between web applications and Sterling OMS, including API gateways (Apigee), event-driven flows (Kafka), JMS queues, agents, and backend orchestration services.AI-Driven Experiences:Drive the adoption of AI/ML-powered capabilities, including personalized recommendations, predictive search, chatbots, voice interfaces, fraud detection, and computer vision-based experiences. Collaborate with data science and product teams to integrate AI-driven insights and personalization into customer journeys. Ensure responsible AI practices with a focus on performance, security, and ethical use of customer data. Backend, Cloud & DevOps:Architect and deliver microservices-based backends to web applications. Apply DevOps principles (automation, observability, CI/CD) to streamline delivery cycles. Design and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure with scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency in mind. Leadership & Retail Domain Expertise:Lead and mentor engineering teams across frontend, backend, and DevOps domains, fostering innovation and technical excellence. Partner with product, design, and business stakeholders to shape guest experiences. Stay ahead of industry trends in AI and omnichannel commerce to guide strategic technology direction. Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology, or in a related technical field or equivalent technology experience. Minimum 12-15 years of work experience in designing, developing, and implementing computer software projects in a web and micro services-based environment. 5+ years of experience in a people management role 5+ years of experience working in an engineering environment utilizing cloud native technologies (AWS preferred) 5+ years hands on experience providing operational production support for cloud-based applications. Experience delivering, productizing, scaling, and maintaining cloud-based enterprise services. Experience working with an Agile team, CI/CD DevOps and Delivery processes. Experience with Java Spring Boot, serverless, Apigee and EKS.Experience developing solutions for retail or eCommerce businesses and other relevant domains is preferred.
