Job Role: A finance-savvy procurement leader who can bring in best practices, negotiate strategically with suppliers, unlock cost efficiencies, and create a value-driven supply chain ecosystem. Someone with innovation and re-engineering capabilities , who has a track record of delivering value and efficiencies. Qualification: CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance) with additional exposure to supply chain or procurement preferred. Experience: 12+ years in finance, procurement, or supply chain leadership roles. Proven track record of strategic vendor negotiations and cost optimization in manufacturing intensive businesses. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Procurement Leadership: - Drive procurement strategies to reduce overall raw material and capex costs and lead supplier negotiations. - Establish long-term strategic partnerships with key vendors while maintaining competitive pricing. 2. Cost Optimization & Value Creation: - Analyse spend data and identify cost-saving opportunities across procurement categories. - Develop mechanisms to track Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and supplier performance. 3. Supply Chain Best Practices: - Bring in global supply chain practices to optimize sourcing, contracting, and inventory management. - Implement robust vendor evaluation and compliance frameworks aligned with sustainability and EUDR goals. 4. Financial Integration: - Work closely with the CFO and finance team to align procurement decisions with business P&L objectives. - Drive EBITDA margin improvement through efficient sourcing strategies.
