Acting as the bridge between business teams and technology partners, this role ensures that Zoho modules across CRM, finance, HR, projects, and support functions are optimised to enable efficient, scalable processes. The Product Owner gathers and prioritises business requirements, translates them into clear functional specifications, and works with external developers to deliver enhancements and integrations. With a strong focus on leveraging Zoho’s out-of-the-box capabilities, the role balances quick operational improvements with a longer-term platform roadmap. Success in this position means creating a well-prioritised Zoho roadmap, improving cross-departmental efficiency, enabling reliable system integrations, and ensuring the platform evolves in line with the company’s strategy and growth.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct OwnershipOwn the roadmap for the Zoho ecosystem across all modulesGather, prioritise, and refine business requirements from internal stakeholdersTranslate business needs into clear functional specifications and user storiesChallenge assumptions and ensure solutions align with company strategy and operational goalsBalance quick wins with longer term platform optimisationStakeholder ManagementAct as the main point of contact between business teams and technology partnersFacilitate workshops to map processes and identify improvement opportunitiesManage expectations and ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and outcomesCommunicate progress, risks, and trade offs clearlyDelivery ManagementWork with external developers and contractors to deliver enhancements and integrationsEnsure requirements are clearly documented and understood before development beginsReview and validate solutions before releaseCoordinate testing and user acceptance processesSystems and Process OptimisationMaximise use of Zoho out of the box capabilities before recommending customisationDesign scalable processes across CRM, finance, HR, projects, and support functionsImplement and optimise cross system workflows using Zoho Flow and related toolsEnsure data consistency and reporting integrity across modulesIdentify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencyRequired Experience3 to 6 years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Systems Analyst, or similar roleHands on functional experience with Zoho applications, ideally across multiple modulesStrong understanding of CRM, finance, HR, and project management processesExperience working with external developers or system integratorsProven ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutionsExperience in a professional services organisation is highly desirableStrong analytical thinking and problem solving capabilitySkills and CompetenciesExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong prioritisation and decision making abilityProcess oriented mindset with attention to detailCommercial awareness and understanding of service based business modelsAbility to challenge constructively and drive clarityComfortable working independently in a growing and evolving environmentNice to HaveExperience with workflow automation tools such as Zoho Flow or similarFamiliarity with API integrations and system architecture conceptsExperience leading digital transformation or system optimisation initiativesWhat Success Looks LikeClear and prioritised roadmap for the Zoho ecosystemImproved process efficiency across departmentsReduced reliance on unnecessary custom developmentStrong alignment between business needs and system capabilitiesReliable, scalable integrations across core systemsBenefitsWhy Join Alysian Consulting?
