Location: MumbaiType: Full-time, On-site in office Joining: ImmediateExperience: 3-5 years ideally in consumer appliancesAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a seasoned hybrid builder who thinks like a designer and executes like a hardware product manager. You’ll own products end-to-end: from insights and early sketches → prototyping, tooling, testing → certifications, manufacturing → launch.This role requires someone who obsesses over aesthetics, engineering, quality, timelines, consumers, and costs  all at once.Key ResponsibilitiesLead product design from concept sketches to CAD, CMF, prototyping, EVT/DVT/PVT, and golden sample approvals.Develop and own the CMF strategy: materials, finishes, textures, coatings, durability validation.Collaborate with tooling vendors, ODM/OEM factories, and manufacturing partners to ensure feasibility, DFM, DFA, and smooth transition from proto → mass production.Conduct competitor teardowns, benchmarking, and usability studies to identify gaps and opportunities.Run consumer interviews, prototype testing, and incorporate insights into rapid iterations.Write PRDs and collaborate with design, engineering, and supply chain teams to translate insights into execution.Analyze pricing models and competitive landscapes to support product positioning and recommendations.Work with the supply chain on BOM finalization, vendor qualification, SKD/CKD strategy, cost negotiation, and NPI sequencing.Define product roadmaps, business cases, feature prioritization, and pricing strategies.Coordinate cross-functionally with design, engineering, operations, QC, marketing, and leadership teams.Oversee packaging briefs, accessory planning, instruction manuals, and unboxing experience.RequirementsStrong portfolio of shipped physical products from concept → production.Deep understanding of plastics, metals, coatings, tooling, manufacturing processes, and DFM/DFA.Strong understanding of hardware reliability, thermal management, safety standards, and compliance.Experience working directly with factories (ODM/OEM).Excellent analytical skills for pricing, BOM analysis, and market benchmarking.Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.What We OfferWork directly with the Founding Team.Ownership of market-defining products engineered for Better Modern Living.A design-led, globally ambitious environment where hardware and aesthetics meet.Opportunity to build iconic consumer products from zero to scale.
