Role OverviewThe Legal Manager will be responsible for providing end-to-end legal advisory and compliance support across Pluckk’s business operations. The role will oversee contract management, statutory and regulatory compliance, litigation coordination, and risk management while partnering closely with internal stakeholders to enable compliant and ethical business growth.Key Responsibilities1. Legal Advisory & ComplianceProvide legal advice across business verticals on commercial, regulatory, and operational matters.Ensure compliance with applicable laws including FSSAI, Legal Metrology, Consumer Protection, Data Privacy, and ASCI guidelines.Advise on product labelling, marketing communication, and promotional activities.2. Contract ManagementDraft, review, negotiate, and finalize commercial contracts and agreements.Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including documentation and repository maintenance.Support business teams in negotiations while safeguarding company interests. 3. Secretarial & Regulatory SupportEnsure secretarial compliances for an unlisted private limited company.Support statutory and internal audits, licenses, and regulatory filings.Coordinate with external consultants and authorities as required.4. Risk, Litigation & GovernanceManage and coordinate litigation matters with external counsels.Drive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Liaise with Corporate IP and Ethics teams to ensure governance and policy compliance.Qualifications and ExperienceLaw Graduate (LLB – full-time) from a reputed institute in India.Qualified Company Secretary (CS – ICSI) preferred but not mandatory.5 to 8 years of overall experience in legal roles in reputed law firms handling FMCG / food / regulatory matters may also be considered.Candidates from the FMCG / Food / Consumer businesses will be preferred, with strong understanding of FSSAI regulations and other applicable food and consumer laws.Experience in contract management, regulatory compliance, and litigation coordination is essential.
