Power Electronics EngineerWe are seeking an experienced, skilled and versatile Power Electronics Engineer specializing in BLDC or PMSM motor controllers, power converter topologies (particularly DC-DC and inverters), Battery Chargers, PCB design, and circuit simulation.This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing electronic circuits for motor control, using microcontrollers like ESP32, and battery chargers for various power levels and battery chemistry.The ideal candidate will use expertise in circuit design using latest semiconductor components, including MOSFETs, IGBTs, and SCRs, to drive project innovation.Experience: Minimum 2-3 yearsKey Responsibilities:Design circuits, create schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, and Gerber files for mixed-signal circuits incorporating motors, converters, and microcontrollers.Design and implement control algorithms for BLDC or PMSM motors, including electromagnetic simulation and parameter optimization.Develop and execute designs for DC-DC converters, inverters, and related topologies to regulate voltage, manage polarity, and optimize efficiency.Optimize conversion ratios, switching strategies, and protection circuits for chargers handling low- and high-watt outputs.Conduct design rule checks, signal integrity analysis, and ensure compliance with fabrication standards like JEDEC/IPC.Utilize tools like LTSpice for circuit simulation, validation, and troubleshooting of designs involving power electronics and motor controls.Perform theoretical calculations, electromagnetic simulations, and thermal analysis to verify hardware performance.Apply in-depth knowledge of components like MOSFETs, IGBTs, and SCRs for switching, protection, and high-power control in DC and AC systems.Qualifications:Master’s degree in Power Electronics, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as an Electronics Engineer with a focus on BLDC or PMSM motors, power converters, and PCB design.In-depth knowledge of motor control strategies (e.g., FOC, sensor-less control), converter topologies, and semiconductor behaviours.Proficiency in tools such as LTSpice, Ansys Motor-CAD, PSpice, and PCB software like EasyEDA.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, perform simulations, and present findings effectively.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.Preferred Skills:Experience with embedded systems programming, such as C/C++ for microcontrollers like ESP32, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).Familiarity with advanced simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink for motor and power system modelling.Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC for electrical safety, EMI/EMC compliance, and thermal management in power electronics.
