Role OverviewRooter is looking for an Associate Product Manager to support key product initiatives across the company, with Rooter Shop as the primary area of focus. In this role, you will contribute to product execution, discovery, and optimization while working closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Growth, Operations, Marketing, and Business.You will help translate user problems, business opportunities, and market insights into well-defined product requirements and assist in building scalable, user-centric products that drive customer value and business impact.This role is ideal for someone who is excited to solve real user problems, work with product data, move fast, and build consumer products at the intersection of gaming, commerce, and digital consumer behaviour.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Development & ExecutionSupport the execution of the product roadmap for Rooter Shop and other strategic product initiativesWrite PRDs, define feature requirements, and assist in prioritizing the product backlogWork closely with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality product experiences end-to-endEnsure smooth coordination across sprints, releases, and product launchesProduct DiscoverySupport product discovery through user insights, data analysis, competitor benchmarking, and experimentationHelp identify user problems, business opportunities, and product improvement areasTranslate insights into clear product requirements and feature proposalsProduct Metrics & Data AnalysisTrack and analyze key product metrics such as conversion, retention, engagement, monetization, and funnel performanceUse SQL and Python to analyze product data and derive actionable insightsMonitor feature performance and identify opportunities for product improvementProduct OptimizationSupport continuous optimization of product flows including purchase journey, pricing and promotional offers, checkout experience, catalog visibility, post-purchase experienceCross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with growth, business, and operations teams to improve customer acquisition and user experienceSupport the launch and scaling of new product initiatives beyond Rooter ShopShare product insights, updates, and recommendations with internal stakeholdersRequirements3–4 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in consumer internet, gaming, e-commerce, marketplace, fintech, or digital productsStrong problem-solving skills and an ability to balance user needs with business goalsProficiency in SQL and Python for product data analysisStrong understanding of product metrics, funnel analysis, experimentation, and prioritizationStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to take ownership of product features and operate with accountabilityQualificationsB.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science or a related technical disciplinePreferred QualificationsExperience building or contributing to 0→1 or 1→10 consumer productsExposure to growth, monetization, or commerce-led product functionsFamiliarity with payments, digital goods, retention, or marketplace productsWorking knowledge of analytics tools, dashboards, and experimentation frameworksWhat You’ll Get to BuildThis role offers the opportunity to build in one of India’s most exciting gaming and digital commerce ecosystems.
