Hiring for Principal Associate in Commercial litigation team or Hyderabad locationQualifications and experience: A three/five-year law degree from a reputed university with an excellent academic record5-7 Years of post-qualification experience in the Commercial Litigation/Real Estate / Arbitration practice. Additional experience in general corporate advisory (securities / exchange control) and IPR disputes will be a plus point since the role is a hybrid between advisory and litigation. Must have been involved in few heavy / mid – litigations involving commercial contractual disputes, Domestic & international arbitration, general civil and criminal litigation. Must have experience in drafting legal notice, replies to legal notices / pleadings / rejoinders/ appeals/ writs/ SLPs/ Written Submissions / written arguments before various forums.Knowledge areas:Working knowledge of all, general commercial laws, practice and procedure of courts, tribunals and arbitrations, IBC, Limitation Act, CPC, Company Law, Constitution. Must have a good command of spoken and written English.Must be able to analyse the problem/ issue at hand, research from different databases and draft first cut drafts and review of the drafts with value addition in facts and grounds, in litigation matters.Must be able to communicate with clients directly, if need be.Must be able to work under the guidance of an Associate Partner/Partner in drafting and preparing documents/ pleadings, appearance before the courts on the above subjects.Must have up to date knowledge of current commercial laws.Must be able to file documents/ pleadings / argue before different forums. Must be open to visiting Courts, stator/regulatory authorities, client offices when the need arises.Other skills:Good team playerExcellent communication skills (litigation experience) Analytical ability- able to analyse laws and apply the same for practical useTech-savvy, able to use the computer efficiently, social media, e-commerce mechanismsMust have written articles on relevant disputes/ topics in the subject areas mentioned above.High level of integrity, honesty and commitment to work ethics
