Job Title: Electrical & Instrumentation Proposal & Estimation (Water Projects)Job Description:We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Manager with expertise in proposal and estimation for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals, estimating costs, and supporting tender submissions for electrical and instrumentation systems in water treatment Projects. The candidate will Manage /lead the E& I team and closely work with the Proposal teams to ensure that proposals meet the client's requirements and are delivered on timeKey Responsibilities:Review tender documents, technical specifications, and drawings related to E&I scope.Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical and instrumentation works including power distribution, control systems, SCADA, PLCs, and field instrumentation.Develop technical proposals and compliance statements in line with client requirements.Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to gather inputs for accurate estimation.Identify and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and technical compliance.Prepare BOQs, pricing sheets, and risk assessments for proposal submissions.Support bid clarifications, negotiations, and post-bid technical discussions.Maintain a database of historical costs and vendor pricing for future reference.Skills & Qualifications:Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of electrical systems in water infrastructure (MCCs, VFDs, transformers, cabling, earthing, etc.).Familiarity with instrumentation and control systems (flow meters, pressure transmitters, analyzers, PLCs, SCADA).Proficiency in estimation tools and MS Excel.Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings (SLDs, loop diagrams, GA drawings).Understanding of relevant codes and standards (IEC, IS, NEC, IEEE, etc.).Professional Skills:Strong analytical and numerical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication.Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.Team player with cross-functional coordination skills.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.15 years of experience in E&I estimation and proposal preparation, In water & wastewater treatment/ EPC companies/ System Integrators.Preferred Experience:In water & wastewater treatment/ EPC companies/ System Integrators.Knowledge of automation systems and integration with water treatment processes.
