Position : Senior Accountant – Accounts PayableLocation: HyderabadExperience: 3–7 YearsQualification: CMA (Completed) / CA Inter only (MBA, graduates are not eligible).Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant – Accounts Payable to manage the complete AP cycle, vendor reconciliations, and payment processing while ensuring strict adherence to internal controls and financial policies. The ideal candidate should have strong SAP ERP exposure, advanced Excel skills, and hands-on experience in month-end closing and audit support.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full Accounts Payable cycle including invoice verification, approval coordination, posting, and payment processingReview and validate vendor invoices for accuracy, VAT compliance, and supporting documentationPerform vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptlyMonitor AP ageing and ensure payments are processed as per agreed termsPrepare and review payment proposals in SAP ERPEnsure adherence to internal approval matrix and Delegation of Authority (DOA)Perform month-end AP closing activities and clear open itemsReview and reconcile GR/IR balances and open advancesSupport internal and external audits by providing required documentationEnsure compliance with financial policies and internal control frameworksIdentify and implement process improvements in AP workflowsEligibility CriteriaMinimum 3 years of relevant Accounts Payable experienceStrong knowledge of AP processes and internal controlsHands-on experience in SAP ERP (mandatory)Advanced proficiency in MS ExcelRequired SkillsStrong vendor reconciliation and ledger scrutiny skillsKnowledge of payment processing controls and compliance standardsAnalytical and reporting capabilitiesDetail-oriented with high accuracyStrong coordination and team collaboration skills
