Tech in Mechanical In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: To be successful in this role you will need the following: Apply core mechanical engineering principles—including thermal analysis, fluid dynamics, and structural design—to develop filtration productsDesign and develop air filtration and crankcase ventilation filtration products from concept through productionPerform concept generation and detailed design using Creo or equivalent CAD toolsEnsure designs meet Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) requirementsSupport system‑level integration of filtration products within internal combustion engines and vehicle platformsParticipate in product launch activities including GD&T, Dimensional Variation Analysis (DVA), reliability assessment, and technical documentationCollaborate closely with manufacturing, quality, testing, and global engineering teams to ensure successful executionRespond to customer‑driven engineering requests with agility while maintaining technical discipline and qualityUse data‑driven approaches to evaluate performance, risks, and design trade‑offs To be successful in this role you will need the followingTechnical Skills & KnowledgeStrong understanding of internal combustion engine (ICE) systems and vehicle integrationWorking knowledge of air filtration and crankcase ventilation filtration products and systemsProficiency in CAD tools such as Creo for modelling and drawings creationWorking knowledge of GD&T, DFM, DFA, reliability engineering, and validation processesBehavioral & Professional CompetenciesEffective communicator with the ability to collaborate across regional and global teamsSelf‑driven, agile, and flexible in managing multiple priorities and customer expectationsStrong learning orientation and continuous improvement mindsetTeam‑oriented approach with growing technical leadership capabilitiesWork Arrangement & TravelHybrid work model with 3 days working from officeTravel requirement: up to 0–20% based on project and customer needsEducation and Experience:Master’s degree (M.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline3–9 years of professional experience in filtration companies or roles associated with filtration or separation science
