Together with our clients and industry partners, we deliver disruptive work that is changing energy and financial services.#BEYOURSELFATWORKCapco has a tolerant, open culture that values diversity, inclusivity, and creativity.CAREER ADVANCEMENTWith no forced hierarchy at Capco, everyone has the opportunity to grow as we grow, taking their career into their own hands.DIVERSITY & INCLUSIONWe believe that diversity of people and perspective gives us a competitive advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine architectural patterns for agent systems, including orchestration, tool usage, memory strategies, retrieval approaches (e.g., RAG), evaluation, and observability.Define reusable design patterns for agent systems (prompt structure, tool interfaces, configuration, and evaluation) and provide a reference agent scaffold that teams can use to implement agents consistently.Lead the technical design and evolution of core agents (e.g., Data Discovery Agent, Data Contract Writer), providing architectural oversight and quality gates for implementations.Establish engineering principles and guardrails for safe and reliable agent behavior, including autonomy boundaries, evaluation practices, monitoring, and release controls.Design and deliver hands-on workshops to teach engineers how to design and implement reliable agent systems.Provide mentoring and architectural guidance to feature teams developing agent capabilities.Track progress and capability uplift across feature teams, identifying areas where additional standards or support are required.Key DeliverablesTarget architecture and design principles for agent systemsReference agent implementation and reusable templatesEngineering standards for evaluation, monitoring, and release controlsTraining workshops and enablement materials for feature teamsAdoption roadmap and capability uplift across teamsRequired ExperienceExperience designing and implementing LLM-based or agentic systems in production environments.Experience with evaluation frameworks and observability for LLM systems.Strong background in software architecture, APIs, cloud systems and CI/CD.Experience mentoring engineers or delivering technical workshops.Ability to translate architectural concepts into practical patterns that teams can adopt.Nice to HaveExperience working in regulated environments with governance or model risk controls.Experience building data discovery, knowledge retrieval, or RAG-based systems.
