We’ve already completed thousands of jobs with exceptional customer satisfaction - and we’re just getting started.We’re looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET-2) who can build reliable automation systems, strengthen our testing frameworks, and ensure the quality and stability of Snabbit’s backend services, APIs, and mobile experiences. You’ll work closely with engineering and product teams to embed quality early in the development lifecycle and help enable faster, safer releases as Snabbit scales.Location: BengaluruThe Opportunity We’re looking for an SDET-2 who can design and build scalable automation systems, improve testing frameworks, and take ownership of quality across critical user journeys. You’ll contribute to ensuring that Snabbit’s platform remains reliable, performant, and release-ready as our systems and product complexity grow.What You’ll Do Strengthen automation frameworks: Improve and evolve existing test frameworks with reusable utilities, better abstractions, and improved reliability.Write clean automation code: Develop robust automation scripts in Python or Java following strong coding practices, OOP principles, and maintainable structures.Enable faster release cycles: Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to ensure quick feedback loops and reliable deployments.Own quality across critical workflows: Ensure test coverage for key business journeys such as onboarding, pricing, payouts, and service lifecycle flows.Debug and investigate issues: Analyze failures across services, APIs, and environments to identify root causes and improve test stability.Collaborate early with engineering: Work closely with backend, frontend, mobile, and product teams to identify edge cases and improve testability during design and development.Improve regression strength: Continuously expand meaningful test coverage based on production learnings and evolving product requirements.What we’re looking for3 - 7 years of experience in software testing and automation with strong fundamentals in testing strategies and automation design.Strong hands-on experience in API and backend automation, with an understanding of distributed system testing.Experience testing mobile applications (Android / iOS) or app-driven workflows.Strong programming skills in Python or Java with a solid understanding of OOP and automation architecture.Experience contributing to or enhancing automation frameworks in production environments.Strong debugging skills; able to investigate issues across services, APIs, environments, and data flows.Why Snabbit?Front-row seat to disruption: Work on systems powering India’s next consumer internet wave, right from its earliest chapters.Build the foundations of quality: Design and evolve the automation systems that will define Snabbit’s engineering reliability.Real ownership, zero micromanagement: You’ll have room to experiment, learn, and ship - supported by senior engineers, not micromanaged by them.Startup energy, human-first culture: We’re fast, curious, and collaborative.
