Our new strapline sums it up in just four words: We make wind perform.Senvion is seeking a talent professional with 8+ years of experience as a Blade tooling engineer will be responsible for Blade Tool Development and implementation related to manufacturing.Key Responsibilities:Creating and discussing with supplier for conceptual and preliminary designs for new product development of rotor blades manufacturing tooling and reviews.Creating detail, assembly and installation design definition in the form of 2D and 3D Technical data utilizing CAD software and various analytical tools and releasing them in SAP system.Support cross functional team, supplier manufacturing and testing rotor system components and sub-systems interpreting technical data and assisting in product improvements.Improvement of existing tools and implementation to meet the safety and production cycle time reduction.Experience in plug making and validation process.Good knowledge in power hinge and heating systems.Support installation, alignment check and validation of moulds at different blades manufacturing locations.Support for mould repair solutions and validation.Knowledge of customized tooling like shear web positioner, multi-tool adds advantage.Participate in a cross functional team environment completing a variety of objectives depending on the program lifecycle assigned.Creating technical 2D drawings for production.Liaising with suppliers and production at all technical level.Advance state-of-the-art mechanical systems through creative thought, personal and team research, technical compliance and strong analysis skills.Experience and use of 6-Sigma design methodologies and quality tools is desirable.Experience in use of FMEAs and other tools to ensure robust and efficient design and Verification is desirable.Mentoring engineers to develop and fulfil their potential and improvements.As required within the scope of his/her duty responsible for all associated documentation, including however not limited to the following: technical documentation for specifications, test requirements, schedules, Engineering Change Notifications etc.Ability to handle projects of a moderate to large scope requiring extensive coordination. Will be required to handle several assignments simultaneously.Travel to all Senvion manufacturing units for Installation and improvements tasks.
