The ideal candidate will have deep architectural knowledge across the SAP CX ecosystem and will be responsible for defining scalable, secure, and high-performing digital commerce architectures. This role requires strong leadership in guiding development teams, collaborating with business stakeholders, and ensuring best practices in solution design, integration, and performance optimization.Key Responsibilities• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of SAP CX solutions with a primary focus on SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris). • Define end-to-end architecture for digital commerce platforms including storefront, integrations, data flows, and microservices. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable architecture solutions. • Provide architectural guidance on front-end frameworks, APIs, integrations, and microservices-based architectures. • Design and oversee integrations between SAP Commerce Cloud and enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and third-party services. • Ensure best practices in performance optimization, security, scalability, and cloud deployment. • Guide development teams on SAP Commerce Cloud CMS, SmartEdit, OCC APIs, and Spartacus storefront implementations. • Drive code quality, architecture governance, and technical reviews across development teams. • Lead technical design workshops, architecture discussions, and solution reviews with internal and client stakeholders. • Support CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud-based deployment strategies. • Stay updated with evolving trends in SAP CX, headless commerce, and cloud-native architectures.Required Skills & Qualifications:• 12+ years of overall IT experience with strong expertise in SAP CX / SAP Commerce Cloud architecture. • Extensive experience in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) implementation and solution architecture. • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (Angular, React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3) and headless commerce architectures. • Experience in SAP Commerce OCC APIs, CMS, SmartEdit, and Spartacus storefront architecture. • Proven expertise in microservices architecture, REST APIs, and enterprise integration patterns. • Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, etc.). • Strong understanding of scalability, security, and performance optimization in e-commerce platforms. • Experience leading large implementation programs and mentoring technical teams. • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and solution design skills.Preferred Qualifications• Experience in large-scale B2B and B2C commerce implementations. • Exposure to headless commerce and composable commerce architectures. • Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP integration services. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise architecture frameworks.
