Since its establishment in 2003, the hospital has been a trusted healthcare destination for patients both in India and abroad, offering advanced diagnostics and treatments with expert care.Role DescriptionThe Business Development Lead will lead the hospital's growth agenda across multiple revenue and patient access dimensions. The role carries direct accountability for increasing inpatient admissions and operating theatre utilisation, while simultaneously developing the international patient programme, expanding the referring physician network, and establishing distributed care and outreach models that extend the hospital's catchment area.The position works closely with clinical department heads, the medical superintendent, and senior administration, and requires an individual who can operate both strategically and on the ground — building relationships, negotiating agreements, and translating activity into measurable outcomes.QualificationsEssential–   Postgraduate degree in Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.–   Seven or more years of progressive business development experience in a hospital or healthcare group, with demonstrated impact on admissions growth or revenue expansion.–   Prior experience managing or establishing an international patient service is strongly preferred.–   Established relationships within the medical community in Kerala, with working knowledge of the regional referral ecosystem.–   Fluency in Malayalam; strong professional communication in English; functional Hindi.Desirable–   Experience with JCI, NABH, or equivalent quality frameworks from a BD or patient services perspective.–   Familiarity with TPA operations, cashless empanelment, and third-party administrator negotiations.–   Exposure to distributed care, tele-health, or satellite clinic models.–   Prior tenure at a comparable multispecialty hospital in Kerala or the broader South India market.
