OverviewThe Operations & Engineering team is looking for an Operations Engineer to support operational workflows, data integrity, and client deliverables across client-facing platforms. Reporting to the Director of Operations & Analytics, this role focuses on monitoring, managing, and optimizing data ingestion pipelines to ensure SLA compliance and smooth client operations. The role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and collaboration with engineering, product, and client success teams.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor data ingestion, post-ingestion processes, and application health.Troubleshoot issues using runbooks and documentation.Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.Log and escalate operational issues as needed.Respond to client queries and resolve issues within defined timelines.Deliver outputs accurately and within SLAs.Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Client Success teams to resolve incidents and improve processes.Maintain records of incidents, client interactions, and operational metrics.Support automation and workflow improvements.Use SQL, Shell scripting, and Python for operational support.Required Qualifications4+ years experience in operations, production support, or data engineering.Strong experience with SQL, Advanced Excel, and MySQL.Knowledge of Linux, networking basics, and AWS.Familiarity with Airflow, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience in SaaS, energy, or data-driven industries.Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring tools.Knowledge of PySpark, ETL, data integration, and data analysis.Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and Jira.
