Location: RemoteShift: US ShiftExperience: 2–4 YearsEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Network Asset Discovery Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure environments by implementing and managing network discovery and asset visibility solutions.The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with network discovery tools, networking protocols, and enterprise IT infrastructure, along with the ability to analyze network data and improve asset discovery processes.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and manage network discovery tools such as Armis, RunZero, Lansweeper, BMC Discovery, ServiceNow Discovery, or HP UD.Perform network scanning and asset discovery across enterprise infrastructure environments.Analyze network and system data to identify devices, configurations, and dependencies.Integrate discovery data with IT Asset Management (ITAM) and CMDB platforms.Troubleshoot issues related to network discovery tools and data collection.Support automation of discovery workflows using Python or PowerShell.Work closely with network, infrastructure, and security teams to improve asset visibility.Maintain documentation and reports on discovered assets and infrastructure.Required Qualifications2–4 years of experience working with network discovery tools such as Armis, RunZero, Lansweeper, BMC Discovery, ServiceNow Discovery, or HP UD.Strong understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.Experience with enterprise infrastructure environments.Basic scripting or automation experience using Python or PowerShell.Ability to analyze network and infrastructure asset data. Preferred QualificationsExperience working with IT Asset Management (ITAM) or CMDB tools.Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
