Role: Data Engineer/ Analyst Experience: 4+ Years Domain: Exposure in Banking domain is requiredLocation: Gurgaon, Noida, Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore Work Mode: Hybrid Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst / Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL and hands-on experience in PySpark and big data environments. The ideal candidate will have US Banking domain experience and the ability to work directly with clients to deliver data-driven insights and solutions. Roles and Responsibilities: ▪ Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale data analysis ▪ Establish Spark sessions and perform data processing using basic and intermediate PySpark commands ▪ Extract and process data from Hadoop ecosystems (Hive/Impala) and Oracle databases ▪ Perform complex data wrangling, transformation, merging, and analysis on large datasets ▪ Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions ▪ Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements and present insights ▪ Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance optimization ▪ Support data validation, reconciliation, and reporting activities Must Have: ▪ Advanced SQL (query optimization, joins, subqueries, performance tuning) ▪ Intermediate Python proficiency ▪ Strong hands-on experience with PySpark (Spark session creation, DataFrame operations, transformations, basic performance handling) ▪ Experience working with Hadoop (Hive/Impala) and Oracle databases ▪ Proven experience handling and analyzing large datasets ▪ Strong data wrangling and analytical skills ▪ Experience in US Banking domain (regulatory reporting, risk, finance, or related areas preferred) ▪ Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact directly with clients
