S/he will lead & be responsible for managing a team working on new product development (NPD), value analysis and value engineering (VA/VE) and sustaining projects as well as perform management duties. This role will require strong leadership skills and demonstrated product development experience in a global technology company to drive success for the Energy BU by leading his/her team to develop best-in-class engineering solutions for our customers.RESPONSIBILITIESManage and drive the Electronic and Sensor Integration TeamDemonstrate technical leadership. Provide technical solutions and break through ideas.Guide the development of complex electronic systems, including analog and digital circuitsOversee the implementation of emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, and machine learning in electronic productsEnsure adherence to industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IPC) and regulatory requirements (e.g., FCC, CE)Perform resource planning and prioritization for required activitiesAccountable for delivering NPD projects on-time and on-budgetCollaborate with product managers, mechanical teams, software developers, and system architects to integrate electronics into end products.Successfully facilitate transfer and support of new product introduction (NPI) into high volume manufacturingParticipate in design reviews & project reviewsSupport product compliance and approvals for new products and platformsEmpower team to grow and achieve results through supported development and coaching.Be a strong technical partner and provide support to product management teams.Model and foster TE core values and behaviorsEDUCATION/KNOWLEDGEGraduate or postgraduate (BE or M.Tech) in Electronics engineering or related engineering discipline12+ years of engineering experience and with more than 5 years of experience in supervising and leading engineering teamExperience in developing and industrializing electronic and sensor products, preferably associated with Energy marketExcellent in people and resource managementCRITICAL EXPERIENCEStrong understanding of analog/digital electronics, signal conditioning, and sensor communication protocols.Proven track record in sensor deployment for industrial, renewable, or power systems (e.g., temperature, pressure, flow, vibration, current, voltage).Experience with embedded systems, PCB design, and system-level integration.Familiarity with energy systems, including power electronics, renewable energy systems, grid interfaces, or smart metering.Familiarity with IoT platforms and cloud-based sensor data acquisition.COMPETENCIESExcellent motivational skills: a person with the ability to set and achieve goals and motivate team members to achieve the highest standards of performance in a dynamic fast paced environment.Attention to detail and on time deliveryExcellent judgment, timely and high-quality decision-making skillsClear, strategic thinker with the ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems.MOTIVATIONAL/CULTURAL FITResults drivenClear and concise communicationInnovation demeanorProblem solvingPassion for technology
