Finance Controller (Automation, AI & Odoo Implementation)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Finance Controller with strong expertise in financial management, process automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration, and Odoo ERP implementation. The ideal candidate will lead finance operations while driving digital transformation through automation and data-driven decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage end-to-end finance and accounting operations.Implement and optimize Odoo ERP across finance, accounting, and reporting functions.Design and deploy AI-driven automation for accounting, reporting, and reconciliation processes.Develop financial dashboards and automated MIS reporting systems.Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and audit requirements.Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.Oversee accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and financial close processes.Collaborate with IT teams and vendors for automation and system integration projects.Establish internal controls and risk management frameworks.Automation & AI ResponsibilitiesImplement AI tools for invoice processing, data extraction, and financial analytics.Automate workflows using Power Automate, APIs, or similar tools.Integrate Outlook/email-based invoice processing into accounting systems.Build predictive financial models using AI and analytics tools.Create automated alerts and exception reporting mechanisms.Odoo Implementation ResponsibilitiesLead Odoo ERP implementation, configuration, and customization.Map business processes to Odoo modules (Accounting, Inventory, CRM, etc.).Ensure seamless data migration and system integration.Train finance teams and create SOPs for Odoo usage.Coordinate with Odoo partners and developers for enhancements.Qualifications & ExperienceChartered Accountant (CA) / CPA / Equivalent qualification preferred.10+ years of experience in finance and accounting leadership roles.Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP implementation.Experience in finance automation and AI-based solutions.Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and compliance.Experience with Power BI, Excel automation, or similar analytics tools.Technical SkillsOdoo ERP (Implementation & Functional Expertise)AI tools and automation platformsAdvanced Excel, Power Query, Power BIAPI integrations and workflow automationFinancial modeling and analyticsSoft SkillsStrong leadership and stakeholder managementAnalytical thinking and problem-solvingExcellent communication and documentation skillsChange management and process improvement mindsetKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Successful ERP implementation and adoptionReduction in manual accounting processesTimely financial reporting and close cyclesImproved data accuracy and financial visibilityAutomation-driven efficiency improvementsReporting StructureReports to: CFO / Managing DirectorTeam Managed: Finance & Accounts Team, Automation Analysts (ifapplicable)Location & Work ModeLocation: Gurgaon OfficeWork Mode: On-site- US shift (position working with US Team)
