The organization is known for delivering high-performance offshore maritime solutions driven by engineering excellence, operational reliability, and uncompromising safety standards.This role is ideal for a Chief Engineer / Second Engineer with offshore vessel experience seeking a shore-based leadership role , overseeing technical operations, maintenance excellence, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization for a modern offshore fleet.Role OverviewThe Technical Superintendent – Offshore will provide end-to-end technical management and operational support to assigned offshore vessels including DP2, AHTS, PSV, and DSV . The role ensures vessels operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company policies, charterer expectations, and international maritime regulations.You will act as the critical link between ship and shore , ensuring seamless vessel operations, optimized performance, minimal downtime, and high stakeholder satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesVessel maintenance and repair : Lead planned maintenance execution while coordinating routine and major repairs, ensuring efficient and timely dry-docking.Technical support : Provide shore-based technical support to the vessel's captain and chief engineer, helping to resolve technical issues.Compliance : Enforce strict adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and international regulatory requirements.Budget and cost management : Plan, manage, and control budgets for vessel maintenance, repairs, and technical suppliesSupplies and logistics : Oversee end-to-end logistics for vessel stores and spares, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and cost efficiency.Performance monitoring : Report on vessel performance, such as speed and fuel consumption, and oversee vetting inspections.Accident and incident investigation: Investigate breakdowns, accidents, and damage to determine causes and prevent future occurrences.Crew supervision : May involve supervising vessel crews, particularly the engineering staff, and ensuring adherence to duties.QualificationsChief Engineer (Preferred) / Second Engineer with Offshore Vessel ExperienceOffshore vessel exposure: DP2, AHTS, PSV, DSVStrong hands-on experience on:MAK, CAT, Cummins enginesAzimuth thrusters & propulsion systemsTunnel & retractable thrustersExperience with vessel management software and technical reporting toolsPrior exposure to OVID inspections and oil major chartered vessels is a strong advantageStrong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities effectivelyWillingness to travel as requiredWhat’s on OfferCompetitive compensation packageHigh-impact leadership role in offshore fleet operationsCareer growth within a globally recognized offshore management environmentExposure to advanced offshore vessel technologies and DP operationsApply NowIf you are ready to elevate your offshore technical career, share your CV at:Or contact:Roohi Mehta | Join a team shaping the future of offshore operational excellence.
