SUMMARYWe are seeking an experienced Drug Safety (Pharmacovigilance) Technical Specialist – Bilingual Japanese to support pharmacovigilance technology solutions within a global life sciences environment.This role is ideal for professionals with strong pharmacovigilance systems expertise, particularly in Argus or ArisGlobal platforms, combined with hands-on PL/SQL programming experience. The position will involve collaborating closely with Japanese-speaking stakeholders, delivering technical solutions, developing documentation, and supporting the implementation of drug safety systems.Candidates with strong technical capabilities, pharmacovigilance system knowledge, and bilingual Japanese communication skills will thrive in this position. RESPONSIBILITIESPharmacovigilance Systems SupportProvide technical expertise for pharmacovigilance platforms such as Argus Safety and ArisGlobal solutions.Support implementation, configuration, and optimization of drug safety systems.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to pharmacovigilance applications.Technical Development & Data ManagementDevelop and maintain SQL queries and PL/SQL code to support pharmacovigilance reporting and data management.Work with BI and reporting tools such as PVR, Cognos, and BI Publisher to generate client reports and insights.Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) and incorporate feedback into system improvements.Stakeholder CollaborationLiaise with Japanese-speaking stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify technical needs, and provide project updates.Translate technical requirements into functional system solutions.Present findings, reports, and technical recommendations to stakeholders when required. QUALIFICATIONS Strong experience with Argus and/or ArisG.PL/SQL is mandatory.Bilingual proficiency in Japanese.Hands-on experience in Drug Safety products (Oracle/Aris Global).
