Assistant Vice President / Deputy Vice President -OperationsLocation: HyderabadDepartment: OperationsEmployment Type: Full-timeRole PurposeLead and scale end-to-end operations and customer service delivery, ensuring regulatory compliance, risk control, operational excellence, and superior customer experience. Drive digitization, straight-through processing (STP), and cost/productivity improvements while enabling business growth.Key Responsibilities1) Operations Leadership & GovernanceOwn day-to-day regional operations across ops hubsEstablish and monitor SLAs, TAT, quality metrics, and uptime across processes; drive STP and first-time-right outcomes.Run structured governance (dashboards, reviews, CAPAs) with Team and stake holders2) Risk, Compliance & ControlEnsure adherence to SEBI guidelines, KYC/AML, Fund accounting etc and internal policies/SOPs.Oversee audits (internal/statutory/ External)Ensure strong maker-checker controls, surprise audits, and AML red-flag escalation protocols.3) People LeadershipBuild and lead a high-performing team: hiring, role clarity, training (KYC/AML, processes, systems), and succession planning.Drive a culture of accountability, integrity, and customer-centricity;4) Financial & Capacity ManagementOwn regional ops budget; unit cost, productivity ratios, and vendor spend.Forecast volumes, plan capacity, and manage peak-period Transactions.5) Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with Risk, Compliance, IT, InfoSec, and Vendors & AMCs to ensure smooth delivery and change adoption.Represent the region in leadership reviews; communicate status, risks, and improvement plans clearly.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Graduate; MBA/PGDM preferred.Knowledge in Mutual fund operations and processing is preffered.Good to have AMCs handling ExperienceExperience: 12–18+ years in banking operations/service delivery/ Ops HubsRegulatory Knowledge: Strong grasp of SEBI, KYC.About KFin Technologies KFintech serves the mission-critical needs of asset managers with clients spanning mutual funds, AIFs (alternative investments), pension, wealth managers and corporates in India and abroad.
