The Manager will be responsible for defining and driving the company's people strategy, building a high-performance culture, and leading all HR functions across the organization. This includes designing and executing talent acquisition strategies, developing leadership pipelines, owning employee engagement and retention frameworks, overseeing performance management cycles, and partnering with leadership to align people initiatives with business goals.The role also encompasses planning and managing company events — including offsites, town halls, annual gatherings, team retreats, and cultural celebrations — ensuring they reinforce company values, foster cross-team collaboration, and strengthen employee connection. The Manager will own the end-to-end event lifecycle from concept and budgeting through vendor coordination, logistics, and post-event impact assessment.This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in ambiguity and has experience building people functions from the ground up in a startup or early-stage environment — where playbooks don't exist yet and you're the one writing them. You'll need to be comfortable wearing multiple hats, moving fast, and creating structure where there is none, all while keeping the team engaged and the culture strong as the company scales.Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior HR team members and serving as a trusted advisor to the executive team on organizational design, workforce planning, and culture transformation.Qualifications5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial HR rolePrior experience in a startup or high-growth environment where you built HR processes, policies, and culture frameworks from scratch in unstructured settingsComfort operating with ambiguity — ability to prioritize independently, make judgment calls without established precedent, and adapt quickly as the organization evolvesProven track record of building and scaling people operations in a fast-paced environmentDeep expertise in talent acquisition strategy, employer branding, and workforce planningStrong experience designing and executing employee engagement, retention, and performance management programsHands-on experience planning and managing corporate events, offsites, and large-scale employee gatherings including budgeting, vendor management, and logisticsDemonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholdersExperience leading organizational development initiatives including culture transformation and change managementExcellent strategic thinking, communication, and interpersonal skillsProficiency with HRIS platforms and people analytics toolsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; Master's degree preferredHR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent) is a plus
