In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the stability and performance of critical enterprise applications while ensuring seamless business operations.This is an exciting opportunity to work on AS400-based enterprise systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and strengthen your expertise in troubleshooting, production support, and data analysis.Experience LevelsJunior: 1–3 YearsMid-Level: 3–7 YearsSenior: 7+ YearsKey ResponsibilitiesProvide L1.5 application support by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving application issues.Monitor production systems and ensure high availability and performance of enterprise applications.Investigate and resolve incidents related to AS400 systems, COBOL applications, and DB2 databases.Support and monitor nightly batch jobs and policy data processing workflows.Perform DB2 queries and SQL analysis to identify and resolve data-related issues.Identify patterns in incidents and spot trends to proactively prevent recurring problems.Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to resolve complex issues.Document incidents, root causes, and resolutions clearly for knowledge sharing.Use application monitoring tools to analyze system performance and detect anomalies.Core / Must-Have SkillsStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills in application support environments.Hands-on experience with AS400 / IBM i / iSeries operating systems.Experience with COBOL applications.DB2 querying and basic SQL knowledge.Familiarity with CL (Command Line) commands.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to quickly learn systems such as WINS, nightly jobs, and policy data processing workflows.Primary / Good-to-Have SkillsAbility to identify recurring issues and analyze trends.Basic data analysis using DB2 SQL.Experience with application performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or IBM Monitoring tools.Secondary / Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience supporting legacy AS400 applications.Exposure to the insurance domain.Work Location
