About the Role Lead the India finance function with strong ownership of business finance partnering for private label, marketplace P&L management, and financial controllership for India entities, supporting profitable growth and disciplined execution. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Finance – Private Label • Finance partner for buying, sourcing, and merchandise planning teams. • Drive gross margin, inventory turns, sell-through, and working capital performance. • Support OTB, and vendor cost negotiations. • Provide actionable insights on product profitability and performance. 2. Marketplace Finance – India • Own India marketplace P&L, unit economics, and contribution margin. • Partner with Channel and Category teams on commercials, pricing, and promotions. • Track performance vs plan; identify risks and drive corrective actions. 3. Financial Controllership – India • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual closure for India entities. • Ensure compliance with Ind AS, statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements. • Lead statutory audits, internal audits, and regulatory interactions. • Establish and strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and financial governance. 4. Planning, Reporting & Governance • Lead annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans. • Review management reports, KPIs, and variance analysis. • Partner with Central Finance on reporting, controls, and policy alignment. 5. Team & Stakeholder Management • Build and lead a high-performing India finance team. • Work closely with Business heads, Central Finance, auditors, and consultants. • Drive finance process improvements and system enhancements.
