Position: Sales Manager – Chemical ProjectsLocation: PuneExperience: 6–8 YearsIndustry: Chemical / Pharma / Process Engineering / EPCJob SummaryWe are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager – Chemical Projects to drive business development and sales of turnkey process engineering solutions for chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities for our reputed client. The role involves identifying new opportunities, engaging with plant engineering teams, and converting project requirements into business for process systems and turnkey solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness DevelopmentIdentify and develop new business opportunities in chemical, specialty chemical, and process industries.Generate leads for turnkey process projects and engineering systems.Develop relationships with plant heads, project heads, procurement teams, and consultants.Technical SalesPromote company solutions such as:Distillation & solvent recovery systemsPlug flow reactorsIndustrial evaporatorsSingle fluid heating & cooling systemsUnderstand customer process requirements and coordinate with engineering teams to prepare technical proposals.Project Sales & TenderingHandle RFQs, techno-commercial proposals, and project negotiations.Prepare quotations and commercial offers in coordination with engineering and management teams.Follow up on proposals and convert leads into confirmed projects.Client Relationship ManagementMaintain strong relationships with existing clients in chemical and pharma industries.Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.Support clients during project discussions and technical clarifications.Market DevelopmentIdentify emerging opportunities in chemical process plants, API plants, and specialty chemical projects.Track market trends, competitor offerings, and project opportunities.Participate in industry exhibitions, conferences, and client meetings.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering (preferred).MBA in Sales/Marketing will be an advantage.
