They will monitor inventory positions, trigger MRP / replenishment orders, and adjust allocations to meet customer service levels while controlling stock holding costs. Regular analysis of actual consumptions and lead times is essential to identify opportunities to reduce obsolescence and improve availability.Working closely with procurement, Contract Manufacturer and logistics, the Supply Planner resolves supply constraints and expedites critical parts when required. They will maintain material requirement planning systems, validate master data such as lead times and minimum order quantities, and ensure timely creation of PRs / POs.The Supply Planner will support new product introductions by defining initial stocking strategies, ordering, delivery and collaborating on actual execution and delivery.Supply Planner Duties and ResponsibilitiesGenerate and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly supply plans aligned to demand forecasts and be in discussion with CMOs for the execution of the same.Run MRP basis customer order and forecast (if required).Monitor inventory levels and trigger replenishment to maintain target service levels and inventory coverages.Analyse actual supply and consumption along with lead times to drive improvements in planning performance.Manage Purchase request to purchase orders, monitor supplier lead times and chase deliveries when necessary.Work with CMOs to allocate capacity and schedule jobs to meet demand.Participate in discussion meetings and provide input on material availability and slot confirmation with CMOs.Maintain and validate MRP settings and master data for accuracy and relevance.Coordinate with CMOs for necessary GRN and logistics to ensure timely dispatch. Regular coordination with CMOs for commercial material consumption and pass the same in the ERP for correct inventory mapping.Support new product introductions with initial stocking plans and ramp-up schedules.Develop and implement process improvements to reduce lead times and stock levels.Supply Planner Requirements and Qualifications Proven experience as a Supply Planner, Materials Planner or similar role in manufacturing or distributionStrong knowledge of MRP systems and ERP platforms.Demonstrable proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.Ability to manage competing priorities and work under tight deadlines.Good communication skills for effective stakeholder management across functions.Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.Knowledge of inventory control techniques, including safety stock and reorder points.The above-mentioned JD and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the job.
